Pierre Arpaillange
Pierre Arpaillange (born March 13, 1924 in Carlux or Simeyrols , both Dordogne département ; † January 11, 2017 in Cannes ) was a French lawyer , state official and author .
Life
Arpaillange studied law. He was Albin Chalandon's successor from May 13, 1988 to October 2, 1990 Minister of Justice in the Michel Rocard government under President François Mitterrand . He was succeeded in office as Justice Minister Henri Nallet . From October 1990 to March 1993 he was First President of the French Court of Auditors .
