The Planet Pure Stadium (until 2018 Reichshofstadion ) is a football stadium in the Austrian market town of Lustenau in the state of Vorarlberg . It serves as the home of the soccer club SC Austria Lustenau , which currently plays in the second highest league in the country .

history

The stadium was opened as the "Reichshofstadion" in 1951. It was not until 1953 that the sports facility received its first real grandstand. In 1995, a reconstruction of the main grandstand, and in 2000 the board received from natural grass , a soil heating . Originally the stadium had an athletics facility, but this had to give way to additional stands, so that today the facility is de facto used as a pure football stadium.

It offers space for a total of 8,800 spectators, of which 2,126 are covered seats, 2,390 are covered standing and 4,284 are uncovered standing (a total of 6,674 standing).

From the 2006/07 winter break, FC Lustenau also played its home games in the Reichshofstadion, as the Bundesliga considers the stadium on Holzstrasse to be unsuitable. After the forced relegation of FC Lustenau, the stadium has been used exclusively as a home for Austria Lustenau since the 2013/14 season.

In 2007, the Reichshofstadion served as the venue for large group presentations as part of the Welt Gymnaestrada .
