Presidential election in Namibia 1994

The 1994 presidential election in Namibia took place on December 7th and 8th, 1994. As a result, Sam Nujoma was confirmed in office as President of Namibia .

Of a total of 654,189 eligible voters, a total of 485,295 valid votes were cast in the election . The Namibian Institute for Democracy , among others, acted as election observers .

In addition to this presidential election, the parliamentary election in Namibia in 1994 took place on these two days .
