Elections to the South West African Legislative Assembly 1965
The elections to the South West African Legislative Assembly in 1965 were the ninth and final elections in the Mandate South West Africa . They took place on September 15, 1965.
The right to vote was unchanged from the last election. Eighteen one-person constituencies were elected. Only the white inhabitants were entitled to vote, not the black majority of the population.
In addition to the National Party of South West Africa (NPSWA), which had won the last election, the elections for the South West African Legislative Assembly in 1961 , the United National South West Party (UNSWP) again ran.
