Pro12 2015/16

Pro 12 2016/17 marks the 16th season of the international rugby union championship Pro12 (also called Guinness Pro 12 for sponsorship reasons ). It comprised 22 match days (one preliminary and one second round) and began on September 2, 2016. Four teams each from Ireland and Wales and two teams each from Italy and Scotland were involved . The four best-placed teams qualified for two semi-finals, the semi-final winners played to participate in the final, which took place on May 27, 2017. The defending champion was the Irish team Connacht Rugby .
