Pyli ( Greek Πύλη ( f. Sg. )) Is a municipality in the Greek region of Thessaly . It is divided into seven parishes. The administrative seat is the place of the same name Pyli .

The municipality of Pyli extends in the west of Thessaly over an area of 748.938 km². Adjacent communities are Kalambaka in the north, Trikala in the northeast and Mouzaki and Argithea in the south . In the west, the municipalities of Voria Tzoumerka and Kendrika Tzoumerka border the Epirus region.
Administrative division
With the implementation of the administrative reform according to the Kallikratis program on January 1, 2011, the municipality of Pyli was formed from the five municipalities of Pyli , Ethikes , Gomfi , Pialia and Pynda and the rural municipalities of Myrofyllo and Neraida . Since then, these have formed the seven municipal districts.
