The Quiddelbacher Höhe / Nürburgring nature reserve is located in the Ahrweiler district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately 27 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2002 , extends southwest of the local community of Quiddelbach . The B 257 runs to the east and the B 258 to the south . The Nürburgring is located to the southeast .

The purpose of protection is the preservation, care and development of the Quiddelbacher Höhe plateau as a location for rare wild plants and plant communities that are threatened in terms of their existence , as a habitat for rare animal species that are threatened in terms of their existence, as well as because of the special landscape characteristics and beauty of the area.
