The Hürs-Nück nature reserve is located in the Ahrweiler district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately 18.81  hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 2002 , extends north of the local community Reifferscheid directly on the county road  16, which passes on the western edge. The Ahr flows to the west and runs along state road  73, to the east runs the B 257 .

The purpose of protection is the preservation and development of this landscape, in particular the heather and grassland areas , as a site of rare wild plants and plant communities that are threatened in their existence , as a habitat for rare animal species that are threatened in their existence and for scientific and cultural reasons.
