The nature reserve Schorberg and Scheldköpfchen is located in the Ahrweiler district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately 56 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1988 , extends west of the local community of Brenk . The state road L 111 runs to the north, the L 83 to the west and the B 412 to the south .

Protective purpose is to preserve the Schorbergs and the Scheldt condyle of natural history and national heritage reasons because of their geological characteristics, as habitats of rare endangered in their stock of wild plant species and plant communities , because of their special natural beauty and uniqueness and scientific reasons.
