Rachel Nichols
Rachel Emily Nichols (born January 8, 1980 in Augusta , Maine ) is an American actress , film producer and model . She is best known for her portrayal of CIA - agent Rachel Gibson in the fifth and final season of the ABC - TV series Alias - The agent .
life and career
Rachel Nichols grew up in Augusta, where she attended Cony High School . After graduation, she began working as a model and took acting classes at Columbia University . In 2002 she began her acting career.
First, Nichols appeared in various television series in smaller roles. Her first role was as an orgy- loving waitress on an episode of Sex and the City in 2002. In the same year she got her first role in a movie. She played the role of Jessica in Dumb and Dumber and graduated successfully. She then got roles in the Line of Fire series and the horror films Amityville Horror - A True Story and The Woods . After an appearance in the less successful Fox series The Inside in 2004, she appeared in Alias - The Agentin from autumn 2005 until the end of the series . From 2010 to 2011 she played Ashley Seaver in the crime series Criminal Minds . In 2012, she starred alongside Zoë Bell in Josh C. Waller's action horror film Raze .
From May 2012 to October 2015 she played the lead female role as Kiera Cameron in the science fiction series Continuum . Other film and television roles followed. Her work includes more than 40 productions.
