Ramsau is a place in the Ausseerland of the Salzkammergut in Styria and belongs to the municipality of Altaussee in the Liezen district .

geography

The place Ramsau is located 38 kilometers northwest of Liezen , about 3 km northwest of Altaussee . The composting is left above the Augstbach , the tributary of the Altausseer Traun from the Blaa Alm , at the western foot of the Clear  ( 1837  m above sea level. A. ) in the 850- 1000  m above sea level. A. Height. Opposite the valley rises the Sandling  ( 1717  m above sea level ), with its foothills Rehkogel  ( 1260  m above sea level ) and Pötschenstein  ( 1359  m above sea level ) a little further north.

The small town has almost 20 addresses.

The Blaa-Almstraße , the continuation of the L702 , leads through the village on the Augstbach , and here the Loser Panoramastraße branches off . The toll on this road is above the town.

History, infrastructure and nature

1970–1975 Loserstraße was built, and as a result the small ski area was built here, with the chairlift (Loser-Jet) to the Augstalm and on to the Loserhütte , a small practice drag lift in the village (Stellwiesen) , and also the chairlift the other side of the valley to the Rehkogel (Sandling-Jet) ; the ski arena is down by the road. A trail leads to the Blaaalm.

The place is located in the extensive landscape protection area Salzkammergut  (LSG 14b).
