The Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadı (also Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadyumu , German  Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium ) is a football stadium in the Beyoğlu district of the Turkish city ​​of Istanbul . Special location and first modernization

The stadium in the Kasımpaşa district is in a very densely populated area and is on a slope. In the past, the stadium only comprised an east and south grandstand. Second modernization

Special events

During the 2013/14 season, Beşiktaş Istanbul played its home games at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadı. The games against Fenerbahçe Istanbul , Galatasaray Istanbul and Trabzonspor as well as the games in the Turkish Cup were excluded .
