Reinhard Uhle

Friedrich Reinhard Uhle (born May 13, 1890 in Leipzig ; † 1973 ) was a German lawyer and politician ( DDP / DStP / LDP ). He was Vice President of the State Administration of Saxony for Justice and Health and Saxon Minister for Agriculture and Forestry and fled to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1950.

Life

Uhle attended high school . From 1909 to 1912 he studied law, political science and economics at the University of Leipzig . He entered the Saxon judicial service and worked at local courts and at the Leipzig Regional Court . From 1916 to 1919 he headed the district economic office in Pillkallen (East Prussia) . In 1920 he entered the Saxon civil service and worked in the administrative authorities in Zwickau , Oelsnitz and Leipzig . 1922 doctorate he attended the University of Leipzig Dr. phil. In 1923 he was appointed a councilor. From 1928 to 1931 he was employed in the Saxon Ministry of the Interior and in the Ministry of Labor and Welfare. In 1932 he was appointed to the senior government council. From 1934 he worked in the Saxon Ministry of Economics, from 1936 in the Ministry of Economics and Labor and finally from February 1944 to May 1945 at the Freiberg Mining Authority.

In 1924 Uhle joined the German Democratic Party (DDP), from 1930 to 1933 he was a member of the German State Party (DStP). Most recently he was a member of the state executive.

After the war , Uhle co-founded the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in Saxony in 1945. From October 1945 to November 1946 he was a member of the executive board of the State Association of Saxony of the LDP, then an assessor and from October 1947 a member of the state board of the LDP. From February 1949, Uhle was also a member of the LDP's executive board.

From July 1945 Uhle was Vice President of the State Administration of Saxony for Justice and from September 1945 also for Health. From December 1946 to March 1950 he was Minister for Agriculture and Forestry in the State Government of Saxony (see Cabinet Friedrich II and Cabinet Seydewitz I ). From 1946 to 1950 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament . From October 1949 he was also a member of the provisional chamber of the GDR . In 1948/49 he was a member of the plenary session of the German Economic Commission.

After an SED campaign against him , Uhle fled to the Federal Republic of Germany in March 1950. Here he was a legal clerk at the Office for Asset Control and Reparation in Frankfurt am Main .
