Victor Alexander by Otto
Victor Alexander von Otto (born March 20, 1852 in Großenhain , † July 26, 1912 in Dresden ) was a lawyer and politician in the Kingdom of Saxony . He was the Saxon Minister of Justice and from 1910 until his death chairman of the entire ministry .
Live and act
Otto studied law in Heidelberg and Dresden and completed his studies with a doctorate . Before his appointment as Minister of Justice in Saxony, he held the post of First Public Prosecutor in the Kingdom. On February 10, 1902, he succeeded Konrad Wilhelm von Rüger as Minister of Justice after he had moved to finance. After Rüger resigned from his ministerial offices, Otto also became chairman of the entire ministry on December 1, 1910. He held both offices until his death. Von Otto died in Dresden in 1912 and was buried in the Johannisfriedhof .
