The Kirchdorf Reitmehring is a district of the town of Wasserburg am Inn in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim .

Reitmehring is located about three and a half kilometers west of Wasserburg and is at an altitude of 483 m above sea level. NHN .
history
As a result of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the place became part of the rural community of Attel , which also includes the districts of Attlerau , Au , Edgarten , Elend , Gabersee , Gern , Heberthal , Kobl , Kornberg , Kroit , Limburg , Osterwies , Reisach , Rottmoos , Seewies , Staudham and Viehhausen belonged. In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Reitmehring was incorporated into the city of Wasserburg in 1978 together with most of the municipality of Attel. In 1987 Reitmehring had 1115 inhabitants.

The connection to the public road network is established by the federal highway 304 running directly through the town .
The train station in Reitmehring, known as Wasserburg (Inn) Bahnhof , is the junction of the Rosenheim – Mühldorf , Grafing – Wasserburg and Wasserburg Bahnhof – Wasserburg Stadt lines . The latter is shut down. The trains to Grafing are integrated in the MVV tariff . It is planned to electrify this route and to extend the S-Bahn to Wasserburg.
