Richard Rensch

Richard Rensch (born February 9, 1923 in Eisleben , † March 10, 1997 in Lauffen am Neckar ) was a German organ builder . He founded the Rensch company based in Lauffen am Neckar.

In 1968 Rensch developed the scale slide rule, an aid for determining the organ pipe scale . In 1970, the company introduced the graphic display method, which is now the commonly used system for calculating the organ pipe scale. In 1975 the company was converted into a family limited company.
