Romany Romanic Malco, Jr. (born November 18, 1968 in New York ) is an American actor and rapper .

Life and accomplishments

Romany Malco's family immigrated to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago . Malco was a rapper in Texas as a teenager ; he was a co-founder of the RMG group. He later moved to Los Angeles . His group signed a contract with Virgin Records , named themselves College Boyz and reached a high place in the charts with the song Victim of the Ghetto .

Malco made his actor debut in an episode of the 1998 television series A Touch of Heaven . He starred alongside Steve Carell and Catherine Keener in the comedy Virgin (40), Male, Seeking ... (2005) by Judd Apatow brought him in In 2006 two nominations for the MTV Movie Award - including as a member of the Best Screen Team . From 2005 he appeared in the television series Weeds and was nominated as a cast member for the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2007. In 2007 and 2008 he was nominated for the Image Award .

In the sports comedy The Ice Princes (2007) Malco appeared on the side of Will Ferrell and Jon Heder . In the comedy The Love Guru (2008) he played an athlete whom the guru-trained American Pitka ( Mike Myers ) tries to reconcile with his wife.
