Ronny Scheier (born October 23, 1981 ) is a Luxembourg ice hockey player who has been playing for Tornado Luxembourg since 1999 . Since 2005 he has participated with the team in the French division 3 , the fourth highest division in the country.

Career

Ronny Scheier began his career as an ice hockey player at Tornado Luxembourg . First he played for the team in Germany. From 2002 to 2004 he took part in the Luxembourg League , where he won the Luxembourg championship in 2003. After another year in the fifth-class German Rhineland-Palatinate league , he has been playing with Tornado since 2005 in the French division 3 , the fourth-highest division in the country.

International

In the junior division, Scheier took part in Luxembourg's U18-D European Championship in 1998 and the U18 World Championship in European Division 2 in 1999 and in 2001 in qualifying for the U20 World Championship in Division III .

Scheier made his debut for Luxembourg at the D World Championship in 2000 . After switching to the current division system, he played in Division II in 2002 , 2004 and 2018. At the World Championships in 2003 , 2005 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , as he was voted the best player on his team, and in 2017 he played in Division III. From 2010 to 2016 and 2018 he was the team captain of the Luxembourgers.
