Rosenthal is a district of the town of Parsberg in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

geography

The hamlet is about seven kilometers northwest of the city center of Parsberg . In terms of its natural surroundings, it is located in the Franconian Alb to the right and left of the Frauenbach , which flows south towards the Schwarzen Laber .

history

The hamlet was created in the late 19th century and was given to the municipality of Ronsolden . In 1900, 14 people lived in its three residential buildings; the children went to school in the Catholic parish of Klapfenberg in the diocese of Eichstätt . The official gazette of 1925 reports 15, the gazette of 1950 16 inhabitants with three houses unchanged. The community was now part of the Parsberg district .
