Rosenthal is a district of the town of Parsberg in the Neumarkt district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .
geography
The hamlet is about seven kilometers northwest of the city center of Parsberg . In terms of its natural surroundings, it is located in the Franconian Alb to the right and left of the Frauenbach , which flows south towards the Schwarzen Laber .

The hamlet is accessible to traffic by a connecting road that branches off to the northwest of the hamlet from state road 2251 and after the hamlet in a south-easterly direction in the valley of the Schwarzen Laber over the Polstermühle to Klapfenberg .
history
The hamlet was created in the late 19th century and was given to the municipality of Ronsolden . In 1900, 14 people lived in its three residential buildings; the children went to school in the Catholic parish of Klapfenberg in the diocese of Eichstätt . The official gazette of 1925 reports 15, the gazette of 1950 16 inhabitants with three houses unchanged. The community was now part of the Parsberg district . When it was dissolved in the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , parts of it came on January 1, 1972 to the town of Parsberg, which now belongs to the district of Neumarkt id Opf., Including Rosenthal.
