Royal Arena Festival
The Royal Arena Festival is one of the largest hip-hop cultural festivals in Switzerland .
The festival was created in 2007 from the merger of the Royal Openair ( Täuffelen ) and the Arena Festival ( Orpund ). The festival takes place annually in the Roman area in Orpund. The program is dedicated to hip-hop and rap and includes performances by internationally known bands and musicians. All four elements of hip-hop culture are promoted at the Royal Arena Festival, the Royal B-boy Battle and the graffiti wall in the arena are the flagship products. In 2009, a new visitor record was set with 14,000 visitors.
