Rugby League World Cup 2008 / final round

The final round of the Rugby League World Cup 2008 included five teams. Australia, England and New Zealand qualified first to third in Group A for the semi-finals, while Fiji and Ireland, the first in Groups B and C, played in a qualifying game for a place in the semi-finals. In addition, there were two placement games between the second and third placed in groups B and C. Scotland and Tonga played second place for seventh place while France and Samoa played third place for ninth place. The first placement game was on November 8th, the final took place on November 22nd.
