The Southeast German soccer championship 1909/10 won the VfR 1897 Breslau with a 3-1 victory over FC Askania Forst in the final. By winning the association championship, the Wroclaw team qualified for the German championship , in which the club lost 2-1 to FC Tasmania Rixdorf in the quarter-finals and was eliminated from the competition.

The leagues of south-east Germany were divided into a total of 5 district classes in the 1909/10 season, whose respective champions were qualified for the final round of the south-east German championship. The district class of Upper Silesia was divided into the 3 districts of Beuthen , Katowice and Ratibor , the winners of which played the Upper Silesian champions in a final round.

The district class Wroclaw was played again with eight teams. The VfR 1897 Breslau became Breslau champions for the third time in a row. Since the district class was increased by one participant for the coming season, there was no relegated team this season.

Finals

The final round of the southeast German soccer championship was held in the 1909/10 season in the knockout system . The VfR 1897 Wroclaw was the second time Southeast German champions and thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1910 . In this, Breslau was eliminated in the quarter-finals by a 1: 2 in Berlin against TuFC Tasmania Rixdorf .
