Sandra Lévénez (born July 5, 1979 in Carhaix-Plouguer ) is a French duathlete . She is an eight-time duathlon state champion (2007-2018), world champion (2014) and four-time European champion (2011, 2015, 2017, 2018) on the short distance duathlon.

Career

Sandra Lévénez has been a member of the French national duathlon team ( Fédération Française de Triathlon , FFTRI for short) since 2007 and competes for the Issy Triathlon association . In 2007 she won the Duathlon State Championship for the first time.

In 2009 she became Duathlon Vice World Champion in Concord (USA) and she was able to repeat this success in 2010 and again in 2013.

In 2011, Sandra Lévénez became the European Duathlon Champion in Ireland. In 2013 she became the duathlon national champion for the fifth time.

World Champion Duathlon 2014

In May 2014 Lévénez became Duathlon World Champion in Spain. In April 2015, after 2011, she again became the European duathlon champion on the short distance.

In April 2016 she finished third in the Duathlon European Championship.

In April 2017, Sandra Lévénez became European Duathlon Champion for the third time in Spain. In April 2018, she won the title of Duathlon State Champion for the eighth time in Bondoufle, after having been Vice State Champion three times. In October she was the ETU European Duathlon Champion in Spain for the fourth time.

In April 2019, the 39-year-old became Duathlon World Champion for the second time in Spain.
