Sandra Nasić grew up with her sister with their Croatian mother in Göttingen. In eighth grade, Nasić started making music with a schoolmate who was a member of a band. Shortly thereafter, she made her first appearances with her band Villaine - among others with the Göttingen punk band “Die Fremd” or the group “Sanradan” and in the live club “Outpost”. After graduating from high school in 1995, she wanted to study design , but first joined the Guano Apes. Today Nasić lives in Berlin .

Nasić writes her own lyrics. In 2001 she received the Eins-Live -krone as best singer. After almost ten years, the singer left the Guano Apes in 2006 until the band finally celebrated their comeback in 2009. In addition to the Guano Apes, she took part in other projects such as the single Beat of Life with DJ Tomekk . She was the first to give voice to a song by the group Apocalyptica ( Path Vol. 2 ). She worked on the Sistars project, recorded the song A Very Loud Lullaby with the electro artist T. Raumschmiere for his album Blitzkrieg Pop and worked briefly in 1996 with the Bremen band Saprize ; there she took on guest vocals for the tracks Kiss , My Ceiling and First True Love Affair . As part of the New Rock Conference , which also included Peter Heppner von Wolfsheim and members of the H-Blockx , she recorded the song Heal Yourself for children with cancer.

Her first solo release, the double single Fever / Name of My Baby , was released on September 21, 2007. The video clip for Fever was shot in Los Angeles , but the second version of the clip, which was shot in Stuttgart, was eventually used. Name of My Baby was shot in Berlin, with the same people who later played in Fever . Their debut album followed a week later and was called The Signal . For the album, Nasić worked with producers such as Steve Lironi , Christian Neander , Oliver Pinelli and Pelle Gunnerfeldt. The songs were recorded in London , Berlin and Stockholm , among others .

From August to November 2012 Nasić sat with Sarah Connor , HP Baxxter and Moses Pelham on the jury of the third season of X Factor and in 2014 took part in the program Sing my song - The exchange concert on VOX . On April 25, 2014, her solo single Drowned was released in Destiny .
