Zavodske (Ukrainian Заводське ; Russian Заводское / Sawodskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in Chortkiv Raion of Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine .

The place is about 65 kilometers south of the oblast capital Ternopil and 4 kilometers southeast of the Rajons capital Tschortkiv .

Zavodske (derived from Zavod / Завод = "factory") was founded as a workers' settlement Lypnyky (Липники) around a sugar factory, after a decree it was officially declared a village on July 2, 1981, and on July 28, 1981 it was granted status awarded to an urban-type settlement.

Until 1991, the place belonged to the Ukrainian SSR within the Soviet Union and has been part of today's Ukraine since 1991.

On August 11, 2015, the village became the center of the newly founded settlement community Zavodske (Заводська селищна громада / Zavodska selyschtschna hromada ), which also includes the village of Uhryn (Угринь).
