The Hoffenheim castle was a castle in Hoffenheim , a suburb of Sinsheim in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis ( Baden-Wuerttemberg ).

The medieval castle of the place was Schlupferstadt Castle , which was abandoned in the 16th century. Hoffenheim Castle, commonly known as "Schlössl", was built and moved into in 1781 by the local lords , the barons of Gemmingen . It remained in the family's possession for only three generations, was sold the year after the death of Karl Theodor Joseph von Gemmingen (1780–1849) and later demolished.
