Schweisdorf is a village and district of Scheßlitz in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg .

In Schweisdorf there is a Johanneskapelle, which used to stand in Johannishof near Oberhaid and was moved stone by stone to Schweisdorf in 1862.

History of the place

On May 1, 1978, the place was incorporated into the city of Scheßlitz.

On September 30, 2015, Schweisdorf had 170 inhabitants.
