Schlappenreuth is a district of Scheßlitz in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg .

Geographical location

The village of Schlappenreuth is located around 2.5 km northeast of the Scheßlitz core town at the southwest foot of the Reisberg (also called Schlappenreuther Berg), 553.9  m above sea level. NN high mountain or mountain spur on the western edge of the Franconian Alb . It is located at 353 to 417  m above sea level. NN . Neighboring districts of Scheßlitz are Ehrl in the north, Burglesau in the northeast , Würgau in the southeast , Demmelsdorf in the south, Scheßlitz in the southwest and Burgellern in the west . To the south, in a west-east direction, the Bundesautobahn 70 leads past the Scheßlitz junction, which is close to the Bundesstraße 22 .
