Zeckendorf (Scheßlitz)

Zeckendorf is a village and district of Scheßlitz in the Upper Franconian district of Bamberg .

Until 1938/42, Zeckendorf had - like the neighboring town of Demmelsdorf - a strong Jewish community, the formation of which dates back to the 17th century.

On May 1, 1978, the place was incorporated into the city of Scheßlitz.
