Silly Movie 2.0 (Original title: Miss Cast Away , also Miss Cast Away and the Island Girls ) is an American comedy film directed by Bryan Michael Stoller from 2004.

action

An expedition finds Noah's Ark on an island . Although the expedition leader informs his Austin Powers-like contact, he is eaten up by a giant pig ( Jurassic Pork ) before he can give his contact details. The Vatican also learns about the archaeological find and sends its best agent to destroy the ark. However, the agent fails. Meanwhile, numerous beauty queens from all over the world are on their way to Japan by plane to take part in the Miss Galaxy election. The plane crashes on the deserted island, all occupants survive.

On the island, the stranded decide to form two groups, one group being led by pilot Maximus Powers. Copilot Mike Saunders is the only one who is not assigned to a group and, disappointed, searches for a cave in which he wants to survive on his own. This is easy as the cave is equipped with modern technology. In addition, Mike constantly finds parcels that are washed ashore and soon has a talking robot at his side. Flight attendant Julie fell in love with Mike and over time he discovered his feelings for her too.

During a pig hunt, Maximus Powers discovers Noah's Ark and the giant pig that is eating one of the beauty queens. Via a projection from the robot, the Pope tells Mike that his agent has failed in an attempt to destroy the ark. Now he must save humanity. The agent MJ also confirms the order. If Mike doesn't manage to destroy the ark, a giant storm will rage on earth for 40 days and nights. Then humanity would be turned off by apes. In fact, monkeys captured ancient Noah inside the ark. Only destroying the ark will destroy the storm. Mike tells Julie what he heard, but she doesn't believe him. She leaves disappointed and is dragged onto the ark by the monkeys. The other stranded people also want to save the ark, since it is the only ship on the island and thus their rescue. Meanwhile, the US President has learned about the Ark and sent a submarine to the island with a nuclear torpedo.

After a spider bite and the following brief green coloration, Mike gains super powers. The other stranded people have learned from Agent MJ that the situation is indeed serious and are now planning to destroy the ark. Since Noah wanted to prevent the boat from filling up with rainwater this time, he installed a plug in the new ark. This has to be pulled. The stranded people incapacitate the giant pig with alcohol, gain access to the ark, save Julie and fix the stopper rope. The ark goes out to sea, but only the giant pig that has come to life can - with the stopper rope around its neck - pull the stopper and make the ark sink. Mike also manages to save Noah from the sinking ship. The nuclear torpedo heading for the island is destroyed by Mike and Maximus Powers. All but Mike and Julie eventually leave the island by UFO. Mike proposes marriage to Julie. Only then do they both discover the Hollywood sign above them - they are on the west coast of America.
