Skršín (German Skirschina ) is an agricultural village in Okres Most ( Czech Republic ). Most of the population works in the industrial areas of the area.
history
The first written mention of it comes from 1100. The castle is famous for its fruit and wine growing. The first brewery in the Brüx district was located in Chrámce. At the beginning of the 20th century there was still a quarry in operation.
Attractions
- The Kramitz Castle is located in the Chrámce district and a statue of St. John Nepomuk is in the castle park. The lordship belonged to the Barons von Zessner-Spitzenberg from 1720 to 1762 , after which it was owned by Josef Leopold Graf d´Elbeuf, who built the castle from 1795 to 1805.
- "Jungfrau Himmelfahrt" cemetery chapel. Pseudo-Gothic building.

The municipality of Skršín consists of the districts Dobrčice (Dobschitz) , Chrámce (Kramitz) and Skršín (Skirschina) . The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts Dobrčice u Skršína, Chrámce and Skršín.
