Bečov (German Hochpetsch ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located in the Most district .
history
The oldest written mention of Peczschov comes from the year 1327. In the fiefdom list of King John of Bohemia he gave this fief to the lords of Bergow, who probably kept it throughout the 14th century. In the 15th century the area belonged to the Lords of Colditz . In 1502 Diepold von Lobkowicz received it . In 1613 Wilhelm von Lobkowicz gave the village to his wife Benigna Katharina von Kolovrat . After the death of their son Ulrich Adam (1649), his wife Anna Maria, née von Sternberg , who married Count Johann von Rottal in 1652, inherited the property. Rottal handed it over to Christoph Ferdinand von Lobkowicz in 1656. From that time on the lordship belonged to Bilin and from 1720 to the Raudnitz branch of Lobkowicz.
