Mariánské Radčice (German Maria Ratschitz ) is a municipality in Okres Most in Ústecký kraj in northern Bohemia , Czech Republic . The place is one of the oldest pilgrimage sites in Bohemia (since 1280), known by the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows, this is the Virgin Mary pilgrimage site and is part of the Cistercian - Kloster Osek .

Mariánské Radčice is located five kilometers south of Litvínov in the North Bohemian Basin and is traversed by the Radčický potok (Grundbach) .

history

Mariánské Radčice had a train station on the Ústí nad Labem – Chomutov railway line until 1968 .

The church itself is in good shape. The cloister and the six side chapels are in need of renovation. In the 2010s, the associated rectory was renovated.
