Steutz is a district of the city of Zerbst / Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany). 906 inhabitants live on a municipal area of 32.29 km² (as of August 2012).
Until December 31, 2009, Steutz was an independent municipality with the associated district of Steckby. On January 1, 2010 the incorporation into Zerbst / Anhalt took place.
Steutz is the primary school location (also for the neighboring towns of Jütrichau and Leps ). A state bird sanctuary is located in Steckby.

Steutz and Steckby are located on the middle Elbe , south of Zerbst / Anhalt and west of Dessau-Roßlau . The city of Aken (Elbe) is on the opposite side of the Elbe. West of Steutz, the " Steckby-Lödderitzer Forst " nature reserve - designated as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO as such in 1979 - developed into the Middle Elbe biosphere reserve, which was expanded to include significant floodplain areas .

The coat of arms was approved on October 6, 1993 by the Dessau Regional Council and registered in the Magdeburg State Main Archives under the coat of arms roll number 43/1993.
Blazon : "In silver, divided by a blue wavy bar, above two red, six-pointed stars, below a branch of three green oak leaves and two green acorns."
The municipality colors show blue - green - silver (white).
Steutz is an old place and was first mentioned in 1266. The Steckby district has belonged to Steutz since 1974. The meadow landscape of the Elbe in the green expanse of the former glacial valley is a unique type of landscape. With its lush meadows, its almost impenetrable deciduous forests and numerous smaller and larger bodies of water, it offers nature lovers many botanical and zoological features. In the coat of arms, the two districts are symbolized by 2 stars, the Elbe by the blue wave bar and the floodplain forest with its hundred-year-old oaks by the oak leaves.

The flag is blue and white striped lengthways. The municipality's coat of arms is placed in the middle of the flag.

- Schauschmiede , a show blacksmith's workshop operated by the municipality of Steutz.
- Nicolaikirche in Steckby from the 13th century, the first cyclist church in Anhalt is part of the Luther Trail
- In 1998, Steckby was named "Most beautiful village in Saxony-Anhalt", and in 2012 the town of Steutz received the gold award "Our village has a future" from the state of Saxony-Anhalt
- In the context of the federal competition "Our village has a future" 2013, Steutz received the award in silver

Steutz is located on the federal highway 187a (Zerbst - Köthen ), which leads from Steutz to Aken (Elbe) via the Gierseilfähre over the Elbe. There is also a road connection to the Dessau district of Roßlau (Elbe), twelve kilometers away . The next train stations are in Zerbst, nine kilometers away (train line Magdeburg - Dessau ) or in Aken (connecting train to Köthen).
