Stefan Johannes Emanuel Pohl (born January 6, 1981 in Graz , Styria ) is an Austrian film and theater actor .

Life

Born in Graz as the third of a total of seven children, Stefan Pohl grew up in Alberschwende in Vorarlberg . In 2000 he graduated from the BORG in Egg . He then went to Vienna , where he enjoyed his professional training from 2001 to 2005 at the local drama school.

After his exam, which he passed in November 2005, Pohl began to play theater on various Austrian stages. At the KON: TUR in Bregenz , he appeared in Siddhartha and Die Gerechten . In As You Like It and The Two Veronese People , he won over two plays by William Shakespeare at the Shakespeare Festival in Mödling . In 2008 he was seen as a puppet in Räuber Hotzenplotz at the Luisenburg Festival in Wunsiedel .

However, Stefan Pohl also appears in front of the camera as a film actor. He made his debut in a supporting role in the comedy Haider Lives - April 1, 2021 . In 2005 he played a soldier in Ainoa , a science fiction film. Pohl was also seen in the role of a soldier in Grenzgänger , his best-known cinematic masterpiece to date.

Stefan Pohl is the father of two children. He lives in Andelsbuch in Vorarlberg.
