Steffen Hartig (* 1963 ) is a German triathlete .

Career

In 1993, he qualified for a starting place at the Ironman - World Championship on Hawaii , where he finished in 30th place.
In Montreal in 1999, Steffen Hartig was triathlon world champion on the short distance in his age group. In 2001 he became German runner-up in the long distance (3.8 km swimming , 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running ).

He started for both SC Riederau and TuS Fürstenfeldbruck in the Triathlon Bundesliga . His wife Kerstin is also active in triathlon.
