Steffen Michel (born January 23, 1972 in Friedberg , Hessen ) is a former German ice hockey player who played in the German Ice Hockey League for the Adler Mannheim . Today he is a trainer in the youth division of the Löwen Frankfurt .

Player career

The 1.85 m tall defender began his career at EC Bad Nauheim , for whom he was on the ice between 1989 and 1994, first in the second division and later in the top division .

For the 1994/95 season , the left shooter moved to the Adler Mannheim in the DEL, where he completed almost one hundred first division games in two years. In the summer of 1996 Michel went back to EC Bad Nauheim, for which he played until the end of his career after the top division 2005/06 season. The only exceptions were the 2001/02 and 2003/04 seasons , which he spent at REV Bremerhaven and SC Bietigheim-Bissingen .
