All players started with a stack of 250,000 chips. Jason Koon finished the first day of the tournament as leader with 745,000 chips. The registration phase ended on the second day of the tournament with 30 registrations and 10 re-entries, which resulted in a prize pool of 10 million US dollars . The second day of the tournament ended with seven players remaining, the chip leader was Ben Heath with 2.5 million chips.

On the third day of the tournament, after around 40 minutes of playing time, the prize money was reached after Stephen Chidwick put his remaining chips all-in with J 9 against Christoph Vogelsang's A 3 on the flop , but could not improve his hand. Only about 10 minutes later took Vogelsang also Ivan Leow from the tournament, which all his chips with A 7 on a flop of Q 3 7 placed in the middle of the table and thus Q 7 was inferior Vogelsang. Adrián Mateos then took over the chip lead after a hand against Timothy Adams , but gave it back to the Canadian after losing two flips against Adams. Ultimately ended Ben Heath with A Q the event for Mateos, who with 2 2 the full house was inferior to the British. As a result, the remaining players played four to five hours, each of them being both chip leader and short stack. After all, it was Heath who finished the tournament in fourth place. He had placed all-in in a blind battle with Adams Q 6 and was eliminated against A 2 . Third place went just 20 minutes later to Mikita Badsjakouski , who got his last chips in the middle with A Q before the flop , but had to admit defeat to the two pairs of Vogelsang. The latter then went into the decisive heads-up with a small lead in chips over Adams. However, the Canadian took over the chip lead in the first hand and subsequently did not give it up. Vogelsang doubled his stack again with A 9 against Adams' K Q , but ultimately put A 6 all-in and lost to A 9 ♠ of the Canadian. Vogelsang received $ 2.4 million for second place; Adams secured after winning the Super High Roller Bowl Australia in early February 2020 Sydney his second title in the Super High Roller Bowl in a row and received a prize money of 3.6 million dollars.
