Samuel "Sam" Greenwood (born October 11, 1988 in Toronto , Ontario ) is a professional Canadian poker player .

Greenwood has earned more than $ 22 million in live poker tournaments , making it the third most successful Canadian poker player after Daniel Negreanu and Timothy Adams . He has been at the top of the poker world rankings for the first time since July 29, 2020 . Greenwood won a bracelet at the World Series of Poker in 2015 , the main event of the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party in 2017 and, since 2018, high-value titles in the Super High Roller of the partypoker Millions , the European Poker Tour and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure .

He uses the nicknames Str8 $$$ Homey ( PokerStars ) , DeanMalenko ( partypoker ) and AlfredDelia (GGPoker) and played as IfHeDiesHeDies on Full Tilt Poker and as FlatTopTony on 888poker . In addition, he plays under his real name at Natural8 . Greenwoods tournament earnings are over 10 million US dollars , which he the most successful players counts. From that he earned the majority of over 4.5 million US dollars on PokerStars . In September 2009 he won a title in the World Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars . Greenwood secured his highest online prize money in May 2013 by winning a tournament in the Spring Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars for just under $ 380,000.

Greenwood reached the final table of the Main Event of the World Poker Tour (WPT) in Niagara Falls in mid-October 2008 and received prize money of just under 80,000 US dollars for his eighth place.
