Svetlana Demidenko Gennadjewna ( Russian Светлана Геннадьевна Демиденко ., English transcription Svetlana Demidenko Gennadyevna, after marriage Сёмова - Sjomowa - Semova / Syomova * 16th February 1976 ) is a Russian long-distance runner , focusing on road and mountain races specializes.
In 2001 and 2002 she won gold at the European Mountain Running Championships and in 2002 at the World Mountain Running Championships . In 2001 and 2002 she also won the Hochfellnberglauf .
On the road, she finished second in the 2001 Turin Half Marathon . In 2002 she was third in the Setúbal Half Marathon and fourth in the Ocean State Marathon. The following year she was third in the 25 km from Berlin and the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon , came in 38th place in the marathon of the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis and came second in the Istanbul Marathon .
In 2004 she finished ninth in the London Marathon , third in the Grandma's Marathon and won in Istanbul. A second place in the Grandma's Marathon in 2005 was followed by a 15th place in the Boston Marathon in 2006 .
After her marriage, she finished fifth in the Siberian International Marathon in 2009 and third in Istanbul, and in 2010 third in the Düsseldorf Marathon .
