history

The time of the construction of the St. George's Church has not been passed down. The oldest message on the lonely standing at the height parish church dates back to 1349. Since the beginning of written records about the festivals Orel belonged to the church for their accessories; the owners of the Orel estate exercised the church patronage and are buried in the church. Since the Hussite Wars , the Church of St. George had Hussite pastors. The village of Kočice, located on the northern slope of the St. Georgs-Höhe, was burned down in 1468 during the Bohemian-Hungarian War and went out.

A significant road ran across the hill, on which Wilhelm Trčka von Lípa and his army set out to campaign against the Turks during the Long Turkish War in 1596. In the course of the recatholicization after the Thirty Years War, the parish of St. George went out. In 1683 the Orel estate was combined with the Nassaberg dominion . Probably at the transition from the 17th to the 18th century, a tavern was built opposite the church, which was called To the Three Drums . In 1712 the name Tři Bubny / Three Drums is found for the first time for the hamlet.

After the outbreak of the War of the Bavarian Succession , Emperor Joseph II had the plateau protected with 6 m high ramparts in 1778, on which wooden palisades were built. The palisades were dismantled after the withdrawal of the Prussians and the Peace of Teschen . After the passage of French and Russian troops on the road leading through Tři Bubny during the Napoleonic Wars, it was given the name Franzosenstrasse .

In 1835 the village of Drei Drummeln or Tři Bubny , located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 2 houses in which 18 people lived. The place consisted of the branch church of St. George belonging to the district of Chrudimer Dechantei , an inn and a forester's house. The parish was Chrudim . Until the middle of the 19th century, Drei Drummeln remained subordinate to Nassaberg.

After the lifting of patrimonial formed Tři Bubny t. Svatý Jiří from 1849 a district of the municipality vorel in the judicial district of Chrudim . From 1868 the hamlet belonged to the political district of Chrudim . In 1869 Tři Bubny had t. Svatý Jiří 25 inhabitants. In 1900 11 people lived in the hamlet, in 1910 there were 9 people. In 1903 the road from Orel to Kočí was built, and large parts of the old ramparts were destroyed. The name of the district was changed to Tři Bubny in early 1981 . In the 2001 census there were 6 people living in Tři Bubny's two houses. The hamlet consists of a church with a cemetery, a former Hegerhaus, an inn and some farm buildings.
