Tan-Tan province in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region
Tan-Tan ( Arabic إقليم طانطان, Tamazight : ⵜⴰⵙⴳⴰ ⵏ ⵟⴰⵏⵟⴰⵏ) is a province in Morocco . Since the administrative reform of 2015, it has belonged to the Guelmim-Oued Noun region (previously to Guelmim-Es Semara ) and is located in the extreme south of the country, on the Atlantic coast . Its southern border forms the border with Western Sahara . The 9,535 km² large and largely desert-like province has a total of 86,134 inhabitants (2014).
