Skhirate-Témara prefecture in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region

Skhirate-Témara ( Arabic عمالة الصخيرات - تمارة, Moroccan Tamazight ⵝⵎⴰⵕⴰ ) is a 1081 km² prefecture with a total of 574,543 inhabitants in western Morocco in the suburbs of the capital Rabat . It has belonged to the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region (previously Rabat-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer ) since the administrative reform of 2015 .
