Tebabui is an East Timorese place and Suco in the administrative office of Bobonaro ( municipality of Bobonaro ).

The place

Tebabui is located in the south of the Sucos at an altitude of 1242  m above sea level. Together with the village of Bugas , it forms a closed settlement that has a primary school, the Escola Primaria Tebabui .

1496 inhabitants live in Suco (2015), of which 752 are men and 744 women. The population density is 534.8 inhabitants / km². There are 271 households in the Suco. Over 95% of the population name Kemak as their mother tongue. Small minorities speak Bunak or Habun .

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Tebabui had an area of ​​2.74 km². Now it is 2.80 km². The Suco is to the north of the Bobonaro administrative office. To the north lies the Suco Maliubu , to the west of Lourba , to the south of Carabau , to the south-east of Cota Bo'ot and to the east of Colimau . The western and southern borders are formed by the Babalai River , which flows into the Marobo , a tributary of the Lóis . The country road from Carabau to Maliana runs along the eastern border . The village of Atupae ( Atupai ) lies on it .

In the suco there are the three Aldeias Atupae , Bugas and Tebabui .

In the 2004/2005 elections , Vicente da Cruz was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Agostinho Soares Maia won and in 2016 Agostinho Soares Maia .
