Lour is an East Timorese Suco in the Bobonaro Administrative Office ( Bobonaro municipality ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Lour had an area of ​​11.61 km². Now there are 11.93 km². The Suco is located to the east of the Bobonaro Administrative Office. To the south of Lour is the Suco Molop , to the west of Sibuni and Ai-Assa , to the north of Bobonaro and to the north-east of Carabau . To the east is the Suco Zulo ( Zumalai administrative office , Cova Lima municipality ). The Loumea River forms the western and southern borders of the Sucos Lour. The bemutin , which forms the border with Zulo, flows into it. The Suco is difficult to reach. For the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2007 , the ballot boxes for the polling station in Escola Primaria Lour had to be transported by helicopter.

Tazgolo ( Tasgolo , Tazqolo ), the largest town in Sucos, is located in the northeast of Sucos. A little west of it is the village of Aimea , to the south a settlement center with the three villages Galitaz ( Galitas ), Olo-Olo ( Oloolo , Oioolo ) and Heliquei ( Helikei ). Aisalgusun is located on the northern border . There is a primary school in Tazgolo and in the center of the three villages.

The four Aldeias Galitaz , Heliquei , Olo-Olo and Tazgolo are located in the Suco .

Residents

The Suco has 961 inhabitants (2015), 459 of whom are men and 502 women. The population density is 80.5 inhabitants / km². There are 193 households in the Suco. About 95% of the population name Bunak as their mother tongue. A small minority speak Tetum Prasa .

politics

In the 2004/2005 elections , Humberto Barreto was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections , Alvaro dos Santos won and Miguel Lopes Gomes won in 2016 .
