Théo Bongonda Mbul'Ofeko Batombo (born November 20, 1995 in Charleroi ) is a Belgian football player . He plays in the position of the left winger .
Career
society
On January 9, 2015, Bongonda moved from SV Zulte Waregem to Celta Vigo for 1.3 million euros. His La Liga debut he gave on January 26, 2015 compared to Getafe . For the first half of the 2017/18 season he was loaned to the Turkish first division club Trabzonspor , and for the second half of the season with a purchase option to the Belgian first division club SV Zulte Waregem.
Waregem made use of this purchase option in summer 2018 and concluded a contract with Bongonda for the next four seasons. This contract was terminated prematurely a year later for a transfer fee of 7 million euros. Bongonda signed a new 4-year contract with KRC Genk . The transfer fee paid is the highest ever paid when moving within Belgium.

He played for the Belgian U-21 national team . Previously, he also played for the Belgian U-19 national team .
