Bryan Heynen (born February 6, 1997 ) is a Belgian football player who plays for KRC Genk in the Belgian division 1A . He plays as a defensive midfielder .
Career
Heynen started his career at KRC Genk . He made his first division debut on July 25, 2015 against Oud-Heverlee Löwen . Due to a torn cruciate ligament in the league game against Royal Excel Mouscron on November 23, 2019, a failure is expected for the remainder of the 2019/20 season.
National team
Heynen had already played for the Belgian U-16 national team in 2013. For the U21 national team , he played in all three group matches at the U21 European Championship in 2019 . Belgium came last in this group. After that, he was no longer eligible to play for the U21 national team due to his age.
