Ebere Paul Onuachu (born May 28, 1994 ) is a Nigerian football player who has been active for KRC Genk in Belgium since August 2019 .

Career

Onuachu played for Ebedei FC in Nigeria when he was young . In 2012 he moved to the cooperation club FC Midtjylland in Denmark. Players like Akeem Agbetu , Adigun Salami and Baba Collins had already taken this step before him .

He made his official debut for the club's first team on November 29, 2012 in a cup match against Randers FC. A few days later he also made his debut in the league. At the same time he played for the second team, in which he was a frequent goalscorer. He scored seven goals during the ten game days in spring 2013.

Before the start of the 2013/14 season, he signed a three-year contract. It was the first season in which he came regularly to appearances in the Superliga, even if he was always a substitute. He played a total of twelve competitive games.

On the first match day of 2014/15 he scored his first professional goal. At the beginning of August 2014 he extended his contract prematurely until summer 2018. In the same month he made his debut in international competition when he played in the qualifying games for the Europa League against Panathinaikos Athens. Since he did not get beyond the status as a supplementary player in the first half of the season, he was awarded for the second half of the second division club Vejle BK , for whom he met five times in 13 games. For the 2015/16 season he returned to the squad of his home club. After that, he was increasingly used there and became Danish champion in 2018 with Midtjylland and cup winner in 2019.

In mid-August 2019 he moved to the Belgian first division partner KRC Genk , where he signed a contract with a term of five years.
