This discography is an overview of the released records of the American band The Four Seasons .
overview
In the first few years, albums were released in quick succession with few successes and many cover songs , only the album Rag Doll from 1964 contained only one foreign composition. It was not until the second half of her career from 1969 that her own Four Seasons albums appeared with Bob Gaudio as the head behind them. After all, they were in the top 10 six times in the USA, especially in the early years. But the Four Seasons were most successful with best-of albums and compilations, which received nine gold and one platinum awards in the USA and Great Britain .
The highest-ranking records in the US album charts are Sherry & 11 Others from 1962 and Dawn (Go Away) from 1964, both of which reached number 6. The highest ranked and most commercially successful album in the UK charts is The Greatest Hits of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons from 1976, which reached number 4 and went platinum.
A total of 46 singles were placed in the US charts , five of which reached the top position. In the UK charts , one of 19 chart singles made it to number 1. Thus, the US and UK number one hit December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night) from 1975 is the band's most successful single. The million seller was awarded gold in both the United States and Great Britain . The song was later successful twice as a remix . Rag Doll was also a million seller in 1964 and the greatest success in Germany. Bob Gaudio was the author of all number one hits and many other songs .
