Thomas Litz
Thomas Jeffrey Litz (born March 14, 1945 in Allentown , Pennsylvania ) is a retired American figure skater who started in a single run .
Litz became the American men's figure skating champion in 1963 . However, he had to cancel the World Cup in the same year due to a sprained ankle. A year later he took part in his only world championship and his only Olympic Games . He finished both tournaments in sixth. At the World Championships he was the first figure skater to show a triple toe loop .
Litz started for the Hershey Figure Skating Club, his trainer was Felix Kaspar .
He works as a trainer in Lake Placid .
